Cub Scouts Enjoy Day at Lake Neepaulin Beach
On Sunday, August 23, Cub Scouts from Sussex-Wantage Pack 97 spent an
enjoyable afternoon at Lake Neepaulin Beach. Some chose to play in the
sand, while others spent hours in the water playing various games, floating
in tubes, or just splashing one another.
A few scouts explored the lake
in a pedal boat, some of them fished for awhile, and then a group decided
to play basketball. They all replenished their expended energy with a
hearty meal from the barbecue.

Concurrently, with the Cub Scouts activity on the beach, Zachery Miller
celebrated his 11th birthday.

Like the scouts, his friends also
participated in various swimming and boating activities and enjoyed a
scrumptious meal.
