Summer is coming and the SWSC is preparing for a great season! The pool, kiddie pool and snack bar will be open on June 19 for the entire summer. The Sussex- Wantage Porpoises Swim Team begins Monday June 19 with morning and evening practices daily. story |

The Wantage Dog Park has again been voted one of the Best in the USA. The current issue of Dog Fancy, the largest circulating doggie magazine in the U.S., named the top 40 Dog Parks. Wantage was voted number nine. |

Wantage School on TV – The creation of the Wantage School 70th Anniversary Memory Book was featured on a segment of “Classroom Closeup NJ” on NJN Public Television. Filmed this past June, the piece included portions of interviews with staff, students, and alumni, and gave a “behind-the-scenes” look at how a project like this becomes reality. |

Santa Visits Lake Neepaulin – On Saturday, December 20, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and helper elves made their way through Lake Neepaulin greeting all the children and distributing candy canes, lollypops, and other goodies provided by Friends of Lake Neepaulin. FOLN has been sponsoring Santa's ride since 1999. Santa's troupe was transported through the community on a fire engine piloted by Dan Vanderberg and Mary Muys of the Sussex Fire Department. photos |
