TOWNSHIP OF WANTAGE RESOLUTION
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL MEASURES FOR JULY 18, 2010
Whereas, the Beemerville Fire Department of Wantage shall be holding a 5K Walk/Run on July 18, 2010 from 7:45 am to 10:45 am; and
Whereas, the Township roads to be utilized during this event are:
Decker Road from County Route 519 to Holland Road
Holland Road from Decker Road to County Route 519
and
Whereas, the general safety and welfare of the public requires that certain temporary traffic control measures be taken on specific public roads of Wantage for that date;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Wantage Township Governing body does hereby declare the following temporary traffic control measures to be in effect on July 18, 2010 from 7:45 am to 10:45 am:
- Decker Road shall be closed to vehicular traffic by the general public
from County Route 519 to Holland Road. Detour routes shall be provided
by the representatives of the Beemerville Fire Department.
- Holland Road shall be closed to vehicular traffic by the general public from Decker Road to County Route 519. Detour routes shall be provided by the representatives of the Beemerville Fire Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that these temporary traffic control regulations shall become effective at 7:45 a.m. on July 18, 2010, and shall cease to be in effect as of 10:45 a.m. on July 18, 2010.
CERTIFICATION: I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true and correct
copy of a resolution duly adopted by the Township Committee of the Township
of Wantage, in the County of Sussex, New Jersey, at a meeting held on May
27, 2010.
