The Sussex County Board of County Commissioners has dedicated $2 million of its allocated American Rescue Plan Act funding to support our community’s small businesses and nonprofit organizations as they struggle to meet the challenges posed by a persistent pandemic and the resulting, unpredictable fluctuations in our national and local economies.
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s bi-monthly “Economist’s Corner” blog delves into economic data, policies, and issues impacting New Jersey’s economy and provides in-depth analysis for non-economists interested in understanding what’s happening in the Garden State.
Visit Business.NJ.gov and chat with a live business expert from the NJ Business Action Center, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The County of Sussex created a mapping application to help residents connect with local businesses as we recover from the COVID-19 Pandemic. This information is provided as a public service announcement in order to help assist our local residents and businesses. On this interactive map viewers can see a list of businesses and the open status of the businesses. The map is free to use and business owners may submit their business to be included free of charge. This is a great tool for shopping in Sussex County. Access the map at:
