Sports
Physicals HPRHS Any candidates who miss these free physicals must have their physical done by their own medical doctor at their own expense. The required school forms (permission and physical) must be filled in by the doctor. These forms will be available all summer in the high school main office. If you choose to go to your own physician, the physical must be done after June 16, 2006 to be valid for the 2006-07 athletic year. Before any candidate may begin practice for any sport, all necessary forms must be given to the School Nurse. Most fall sports to begin in mid-August, and to ensure adequate time for review and approved by the school physician, all forms must be in the nurse's office no later than July 24th. Candidates will not be permitted to begin practice until forms have been reviewed and approved by the school physician. |

Box Tops for Education…They're everywhere! It's time to send in your box tops. There is a container in each homeroom for students to put their box tops in. At each monthly PTO meeting, the top three classes from both schools will be announced. Prizes will be awarded in June to the classes with the largest, year-end box top collections. Please take a few minutes to register at boxtops4education.com. Use "SUSSEX WANTAGE PTO/PTA, Sussex, NJ" as the designated school. The PTO receives credit for bonus box tops for each family that registers. Also, if you do any shopping on line, log on to www.boxtops4education.com and choose your online store from the 175+ that participate in the Box Tops for Education program. Proceed to shop as usual. By doing so, the Sussex Wantage PTO will receive up to 10% of your purchase. Your name and personal information are not made known to the PTO and the purchase prices are the same as they would be without participating through box tops program. The proceeds from your purchases will enable the PTO to continue to provide educational programs and supplies to your children. If you registered last year, be sure to update your information and we will receive an additional five box tops credits. Clip, clip, clip… If you do not have a child attending the k-8 Sussex-Wantage school district, you may mail to or drop off your box tops at the Lawrence School or the Wantage School. |
