Memorial to Donna Hayes
Last month, FOLN dedicated a memorial park bench in honor of Donna Hayes who lost her battle with cancer on February 27, 2007. The bench was unveiled during a memorial ceremony held at Lake Neepaulin Beach in front of family members and friends on Sunday, July 18. It was purchased with monies donated to FOLN by Donna's relatives, friends, and co-workers.

Kelly LaBar rekindled her mother's spirit with moving statements about her mother's influence and determination. A long time member of FOLN, Donna taught numerous youngsters how to swim. During the 1990s, she was assistant swim coach for the Porpoises Swim Team.
