Friends of High Point State Park Events
The Friends of High Point State Park sponsored two outdoor concerts on Lake Marica this summer: Kilby Taylor in June and the Patrick Fitzsimmons Trio in July. Both events had great music in a beautiful setting, and were well attended.

Yoga on the Mountain classes are held monthly from April to November in the park interpretive center with great views of the valley.
The next event is the Bait and Boat Festival on Sunday, Sept. 12th from 1:00-7:30. It is the only day that non-motorized boats are allowed on Lake Marcia. Bring your own or use our boats. The day ends with a campfire on the beach with songs, stories, and smores!
The Friends of High Point State Park have a lot of fun and provide free, year round events for the public to attend. We welcome new members.
